Locking elements are balls that are locked by a spring-loaded unlocking sleeve. The uncoupling process is initiated by pushing back the unlocking sleeve into the direction of the connection. The valve moves back to its original position closes the couling and pushes the plug out of the coupling. All couplings in this series have an additional lock nut to secure the coupling against accidental uncoupling. The positive connection between the coupling and the plug allows to transmitted torsional forces. Coupling body, sleeve and locking nut are made from steel zink plated. Valve brass. Spring and circlip AISI 301. Balls stainless steel AISI 420. Seals made from material NBR (Buna N).
